150th Anniversary Ceremony for the Washington Equestrian Monument

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip wave from the South Portico.
   
Queen Elizabeth II addressed the General Assembly, the first time a British Monarch has done so.  Thousands watched the speech outside the Capitol from the South Lawn.
